Town of Botwood, NL

Situated at the mouth of the Exploits River, and serving as a conduit to the Bay of Exploits for sea going vessels, Botwood provides a beautiful, deep water harbour for both leisure and economic purposes.
Nestled in the heart of the Exploits Valley in Central Newfoundland, tourists and locals enjoy our beautiful landscape and savour our rich heritage – part of which is proudly depicted in our two museums, archive, and on eighteen outdoor murals as testament to our international connections with aviation, WWII, shipping and commerce.
